How it works

Create, join, take a position, watch the market develop, see the event happen, and winners are rewarded.

1

Create

Anyone asks a question about something that will happen.

2

Join

Traders connect a wallet and add SOL.

3

Take positions

Put SOL on YES or NO. The market starts once both sides have a bettor.

4

Market develops

The pools show the crowd's live odds.

5

Event happens

The market closes and the real result is known.

6

Winners rewarded

Winners split the pool, paid to their balance automatically.

Pools and payouts

Each market has a YES pool and a NO pool of real SOL. The odds are simply how much is on each side. When the market resolves, everyone on the winning side splits the whole pool, minus a 2% fee, in proportion to their stake.

Example: 1 SOL on YES and 1 SOL on NO. If YES wins, the YES bettor receives 1.96 SOL: their 1 SOL back, plus the losing 1 SOL, minus the 2% fee on the 2 SOL pool.

Resolution

Crypto and memecoin price markets resolve themselves from the Coinbase price at the closing minute. For every other market, the creator resolves it once it has closed, using the rules and source written into the market.

If a market is not resolved within 7 days of closing, it is voided and everyone is refunded. A market only starts once both sides have a bet: if a side is empty at close, everyone is refunded and no fee is taken.

Your SOL

Add SOL from your wallet to your ORACLE balance, bet, and withdraw to the same wallet whenever you like. The balance is held by ORACLE's treasury and recorded on ORACLE. The treasury's on-chain balance is published against what it owes. Limits apply to deposits, bets and withdrawals while ORACLE is new.

ORACLE AI

ORACLE also makes its own calls on BTC, ETH, SOL and DOGE and scores itself in public. On crypto price markets, its probability estimate is shown next to the market price so you can see where it disagrees with the crowd.

Is this real money?

Yes. You bet real SOL. A DEVNET badge in the header means the site is on a test network and the SOL has no value. Only bet what you can afford to lose.

What does connecting a wallet do?

You sign one free message that proves you own the address. Adding SOL is a separate transfer that your wallet asks you to approve. ORACLE can never take SOL from your wallet on its own.

Which wallets work?

Phantom, Solflare and Backpack in a desktop browser, or the in-app browser of those wallets on mobile.

Can a creator cheat?

A creator can resolve a market wrongly, which is why the rules and source are written up front and shown on the market page. Crypto price markets cannot be touched: they resolve from the price feed.
